Good/Bad Website Smackdown (Netflix vs. Peacock)

The app Netflix is a good site and is user friendly. Netflix is a smooth streaming and is open to a wide variety of movies, TV shows, documentaries, and highly classified content with original programming. Netflix is free and ad free which is so much easier for the audience to sit back and enjoy their movies and shows. This app is well-developed and is making it easy to discover new movies and shows based on the preferences of your liking. Additionally, it allows users to use this app across multiple devices and streaming options of your liking. By doing this it allows different profiles and high-quality videos to appear on your screen to help create a seamless and enjoyable viewing experience.

The app Peacock is a bad site because it faces criticism for its very confusing subscription model. This app offers some popular NBC shows and movies which are very hard to navigate. This app can either be free or you can buy the premium and ad-supported tiers subscription. The free version had very limited content which included frequent ads which disrupted the audience's viewing experience. Now with the premium subscription you can have more access to more shows and movies but you still have ads during it as well. Peacock lacks original programming and exclusive content that platforms like netflix offers. The streaming quality for this app is not good quality and is sometimes blurry making it less appealing for many viewers.

In conclusion, Netflix is an amazing platform for many people to enjoy no matter what the ages are. Peacock on the other hand is not that good because it makes it harder for the viewers to be able to enjoy their platforms. Overall, Netflix offers way more reliable and enjoyable content for better experiences while Peacock still has room for improvement in order to see the apps on the same level.

  1. I totally agree with you about Netflix being the better app and Peacock falling short. The fact that Netflix is ad-free is such a relief to me because I really cannot stand watching those 2 min ads, when a show is just getting to a good part. I used to have Peacock for a while and I could not handle all the ads, even with the premium tier. The subscription was a major downside, and it did not feel like I was getting my money's worth. Great Job!

  2. I agree that Netflix is better if I'm paying for a service I want it to be ad free. With Peacock I do not like how your charged to gain more access to shows and movies but still have to watch ads. I only have used the free Version of Peacock to see if I would like it and honestly it was the worse streaming service I have ever tried.
